Clinical factors associated with day-to-day peak pain severity in individuals with chronic migraine: A cohort study using daily prospective diary data.
Headache. 2024; 00: 1-10. https://doi.org/10.1111/head.14745
People with chronic migraine have a high frequency of attacks (> 15 days/month), yet little is known about their day-to-day experience of pain. We looked at the relationship between 12 different clinical factors, including mood, sleep, and stress, and day-to-day pain severity scores in adults with chronic migraine. We found that people's experience of pain severity and its relationship to different clinical factors was very individualized, with a lot of variability between people.
